We are here to support and train all local units in Broward County.

Being in good standing is important for Local Units.  Not only does it allow your unit to participate in county council meetings, programs, and awards/recognition ceremonies, but it also provides your unit with best practices in running a local student focused non-profit and protects you from making mistakes that could create liability for your unit and officers.

We Know How It Works!

Our leadership team consists of unit past presidents, treasurers, secretaries, State PTA leadership and community leaders.  We have decades of experience between us, so that we can answer your questions and provide you with support and training that will make your job easier and your unit's success a reality!

We Answer Questions!

For local unit assistance, contact your Area Vice President or the County Council President. For assistance with financial matters (budget, forms, etc), contact the Treasurer. For assistance with IRS/Audit forms, compliance and related documentation, please contact the Compliance Chair.

We Provide Materials!

As a local PTA/PTSA unit, you are supported not only at the County level, but also at the State and Naitonal levels as well.  You have access to step by step guides on how to run the day to day activities of your PTA unit (even the virtual ones!), digital membership drive templates and media, discounted unit insurance products, grants and community programs that you can provide at the local level to your community, as well as educational and advocacy materials that can get your community engaged.

If you are interested in starting, or restarting, a local unit at your school, please email our President at president@browardptsa.org.
