BCCPTA/PTSA MENTAL HEALTH INITIATIVE

The Mental Health Committee will hold approximately 8 total town halls, one in each Broward County Public School District from 2020 through 2022. Our goal is to offer as much conversation as possible about mental health and how "we all have it". Another priority is lifting the stigma on mental health issues by offering our PTA members, our students, and our families a forum for speaking out, asking for help, and being there to provide resources for ourselves and our community.

Everyone is ALWAYS Welcome: Students, Parents, Grandparents, Teachers, Community Leaders!

Our Committee's Mission: Our mission is to educate, advocate, and change minds about mental health, reduce stigma, and its impact on families in our community.
