Grants & Scholarships
The Broward County Council of PTA/PTSAs (BCCPTA/PTSA) awards grants to local units in support of specific program goals & scholarships each year to graduating seniors in Broward County public schools.
REMINDER: Unit Dues must be current for BCCPTSA Annual County Dues, as well as State Monthly Dues Payments in order for Grant and Scholarship Applications to be accepted. See Unit Compliance Requirements for more details.

The BCCPTSA is gathering data from parents, caregivers, and key community stakeholders in Broward County to get a broad understanding of the health and nutrition needs that exist in our community as part of a grant given to Broward County Council PTA/PTSA from the National PTA Healthy Bodies Nutrition Education Project sponsored by Yum-o!® for a program to be held in 2022.

2021-22 Grant Winners
Deerfield Beach Middle PTSA Food Pantry
During the 2021-22 School Year, the PTSA used the Papa John's Food Security Grant to provide a Weekly Drive-Thru Pantry that served approximately 3000 people (1200 children) in the Deerfield Community.
